Because I can't.

YCTRPF is going to languish for a while, as we are preparing for a fast move to the east coast. We had initially said that we had way too much going on and would gladly pay a couple grand for movers to pack and ship us out of here... until we realized that a couple grand is more like SEVERAL grand, so we are moving ourselves.

Why am I even here? I have boxes to buy and subsequently pack and large bird sculptures to encase in bubble wrap.

Eventually, we'll be back in full force.

Hiatus

I'll be vacating this space for the next week as we are off to find ourselves a new place to live.

In the meantime, you should join Mommy's Getaway. That way we can spend more quality time together. You know, virtually.

Yeah, yeah, there's a prize involved. But I swear, that's only a small part of my motivation...

The Deal

In the next 6 weeks we have to:

1. Finish a dissertation (Husband)
2. Finish 9 credit hours and tie up loose ends at work (me)
3. Find a new place to live.
4. List our house for sale.
5. Pack up all our stuff.
6. Move ourselves, our stuff and 2 dogs cross country.
7. Start new life.

Yeah.

To do list

1. Panic.
