I was tagged by the super awesome Kaleigh. Here are the rules:

1. I went to an all-girls Catholic high school. That's why I'm such a rebel.

2. I was a theatre major in college, strictly behind the scenes as I am not an actress, and after college I worked in professional theatre as a stage management intern for a whole six months before I realized there is no way I can work in professional theatre for the rest of my life which is why I spent the next 5 years floating from job to job before it struck me that I would be an excellent librarian. Which I will be. One day. When I have a library job again.

3. Husband and I met when we were 18. He is the best friend I have ever had.

4. I really really love reading gossip rags - US Weekly, In Touch, Life & Style - but I can't justify spending money on them, so I get really excited when I find an abandoned copy at the gym. I used to buy them in the airport every time I flew somewhere, but not since Eva was born since reading magazines while holding a squirmy baby is pretty much impossible.

5. When people ask me where I am from, I don't know what to say. Sometimes I say Chicago because that's where I went to high school. Sometimes I say North Carolina because that's where I went to college and got my first master's degree. But I grew up all over the country, so sometimes I just say I was a navy brat and leave it at that.

6. Last night I had a dream about watermelon. I hate watermelon, but in the dream I found some hybrid variety that I actually thought was delicious. So I bought one for FOUR DOLLARS A POUND. It was a very detailed dream. Watermelon is probably the only food I actively don't like. Except maybe lamb, but that's out of principle.

7. Poodles are my favorite breed of dog. As a breed, they get a bad rap. I have two and they are totally awesome.
